Sponsors pay a monthly donation in support of local investigative journalism, with no editorial strings attached. Whether a business, organization or individual, they will be featured on this page so the community can see who aligns with our mission. Check the bottom of this page to view sponsorship packages if you’re interested in becoming a sponsor. Each package comes with a list of perks to help you spread word of your business while we spread the news and enjoy good brews.

A Latte Support ($125/month or $1,500/year)
- Everything from “Newspresso Shot” tier

Bottomless Coffee ($250/month or $3,000)
- Everything from “A Latte Support” tier
- Sent a quarterly impact report to see an in-depth analysis on how funds are being spent
- Highlighted and interviewed for our monthly featured sponsor article.

When you sign up, a Dark Roast staff member will reach out to the email associated with the account within 24 hours to set up your perks.
Single Placements
We recognize that not every business, organization or individual can contribute that amount of financial support. To get around that barrier, we offer single-sponsor placements within our newsletters. Our newsletters go out every Friday. Below are examples along with the associated costs. To inquire about these placements, you can send an email to admin@darkroastreport.org
Full - $85 per spot / $300 for 4 spots

We do have limited space in our newsletters, as we want the majority of the content to be news. That said, staff will discuss availability when you reach out.
It’s important to note that being a sponsor of the Dark Roast provides no exemption from potential news investigations if the need arises.
